The big event this week was the inauguration of Barack Obama, pictured in all the newspapers, magazines, TV channels, radio, internet portals and especially in many, many sites and personal relationship. The photo above shows the new president and his wife dancing at Youth Dance while thousands of young people hold this moment in their cameras or cell phones with camera.
Each of these persons is a potential means of transmission of news throughout your network, posting their photos on sites like Flickr , Orkut , MySpace or writing about it in your blog, Twitter or other social media that is. If before it was necessary to wait for the next day's paper, today the content is generated when the news and broadcast across the internet.
All that User Generated Content can be easily accessed anywhere in the world and has bothered professionals news and unfamiliar with digital content. We talk a lot that young people are worrying more about documenting what they do than to live exactly what happens.
Lack the understanding that digital is not a tool, is a language. The traditional media is chasing and the professionals are having to adapt quickly. After all if Obama is the president and the future is in power, had so much support before advertising in traditional media as new media. You can check how was this innovative campaign here and also give Fresh photos of Obama soon when are posted on Flickr here .
